On Friday, October 31, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chittanon Buranachai and Dr. Kittirat Phooplub, faculty members of TAB-CoE, together with a research team from the Forensic Science Innovation and Service Center led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phuvadol Thanakiatkrai, visited the Police Forensic Science Center 9 in Songkhla to demonstrate the use of an innovative device for detecting biological evidence at crime scenes and for forensic photography, known as “WATSON.” This innovation was developed by researchers from the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University, with research and innovation funding support from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The event was honored by the presence of Pol. Maj. Gen. Phanu Phitayawetchwiwat, Commander of the Police Forensic Science Center 9, along with forensic officers who attended the demonstration and participated in hands-on trials of the device.
