The Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University, in collaboration with TMEC, invites you to gain first-hand experience from a real wafer fabrication plant (WAFER FAB). This live-streamed program provides an in-depth look at every stage of the semiconductor manufacturing industry—from photolithography to plasma etching—delivered in a comprehensive and immersive format. This special opportunity is open to students and anyone interested in advanced technology. The online activity goes beyond traditional classroom learning by opening a window into real industrial practices, enhancing skills, preparing participants for the world of innovation, and inviting them to become part of Thailand’s semiconductor ecosystem.
The activity will be held online in the mornings on January 15, 19, 20, 21, and 23, 2026. Interested participants can register at https://link.psu.th/t9gGcd. Details regarding the online access platform will be provided after registration. This activity is supported by the Microelectronics Technology Research Team (MEMS), the Thai Microelectronics Center, and the Physics Program, Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University. It is part of the course 332-411 and aims to enhance experiential learning through real-world situations while preparing a skilled workforce for the country’s advanced technology sector.
In addition, on January 28, a lecture will be delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doldet Tantraviwat, titled: “Experiences in Wafer Fabrication at TMEC and the Semiconductor Ecosystem in Thailand.” Participants will also receive cooperative education training hours from this lecture.
