Dr. Kittirat Phuphlab, a faculty member of TAB-CoE, visited the Microelectronics Technology Center (TMEC) to supervise Ms. Panyaporn Sriya,
a cooperative education student, while also discussing opportunities for research collaboration and workforce development in the semiconductor industry.
During the visit, Dr. Win Bunjongpru, Senior Researcher of the ISFET Technology Research Team and Dr. Kittirat Phooplub served as supervisors for the cooperative education student. The visit was also attended by a delegation from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), who joined the supervision visit and exchanged views on academic and research collaboration. The delegation comprised Assoc. Prof. Dr. Paphavee van Dommelen, Assistant Dean for Cooperative Education, Faculty of Science, Dr. Panuwat Srisamran, Physics Program, Faculty of Science and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nattha Jindapetch, Director of the Medical Engineering Center, Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University.
In addition, the PSU delegation participated in activities under the “Integrated Education, Study Visits for CWIE, and Academic Collaboration with Semiconductor and Smart Electronics Industries” project, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Papavee van Dommelen. The project aims to promote Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE), develop academic curricula that align with the needs of the industrial sector, and establish and expand collaborative networks between universities and enterprises in the semiconductor and smart electronics industries.
Furthermore, Dr. Panuwat Srisamran held discussions with the ISFET Technology Research Team, led by Dr. Win Bunjongpru, to exchange ideas and explore potential research collaborations, particularly in the development of gas sensor technologies. This represents an important avenue for advancing knowledge, technologies, and research toward practical applications in the industrial sector.
