TAB-CoE would like to congratulate to students on receiving a certificate and a token of appreciation for student who brought honour to the Faculty on Pride of Science Day 2023 This ceremony was held on 23 March 2023 from 9.00 am – 12.00 pm at BSc3 room, Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University. Student’s names and their research topics were as follows:
1. Mr. Asamee Soleh, Ph.D. student in Chemistry (international program), received the outstanding Award for writing proposals for innovations in Graduate level 2022 the work entitled “A portable sensor device for the detection of formaldehyde contamination in food”
2. Miss Kednipa Lumlong, Master student in Chemistry (international program), won best poster presentation in Analytical Chemistry session with her research entitled “Development of a poly(o-phenylenediamine) coated aluminium garter spring micro-solid phase extractor for the analysis of pyrethroids in fresh chilli samples” from PACCON 2023.
3. Mr. Thanawath Tuntiwongmetee, Master student in Chemistry (international program), won best poster presentation in Analytical Chemistry session with his research entitled “Flow injection amperometric sensor for glutathione detection based on rGO-COOH modified screen-printed carbon electrode” from PACCON 2023.
